Taking people out of the game, to reddits or websites with guides or youtube videos, is not beneficial to the game. We don't have the problem of everyone playing the same 3 decks at lower ranks. If people want to be lazy and just play copies of the "top decks," that's their choice. The more information we have, the better. This can cause you to think "are the cards I'm using not good?" but it's ultimately your decision what you use. You can see the cards your opponent used against you, you can see what other people are using. There aren't many cards to choose from to begin with. From what I see, there is no con to this.įinal words: Ranking would be much more enjoyable since you would be fighting all these diverse decks. There would be occasional Guides to help players out in the Steam Guides section, or on some website, but with the constant slight changes in the meta, it would be out of date after a while and thus would keep the players still trying to make their own decks.Would encourage socializing (and keeping a healthy community). You can still see who the best players are on the leaderboard and can ask for their help in deck-building.People will start being more creative with their decks since they can't just press a button and see what works and what doesnt't.I want to suggest the removal of the ability to see the decks played on the leaderboards. Just copy a deck from the leaderboards and you're good to go. After a long day of playing only against decks that are on the leaderboard, or as you'd call it, Meta, I came to a conclusion that there is little to no creativity involved with deck-building if you want to climb the ladder.
